EXECUTIVE TEAM
John Cadick, President & CEO
John has over fifty (50) years of electrical engineering, training, and management experience including forty (40) years of power system engineering, system operations, training and training management, business development, and independent engineering and safety consultation as well as ten (10) years of power system field engineering and supervision including equipment testing, check-out, startup, maintenance, calculations, and field design. His company has worked extensively with the marine industry since 1989. John has worked with OSHA field offices in the interpretation of NFPA 70E.
John was the lead author of The Electrical Safety Handbook (McGraw Hill); Cables and Wiring (Delmar); Motors, Generators, and Transformers (Delmar); DC Theory (Delmar), AC Theory (Delmar), Semiconductors (Delmar); and numerous magazine and technical articles.
Mike Turner, Director of Marine Services
Mike has more than forty (40) years of Marine electrical, training, and management experience. This includes supervisory responsibilities for the Propulsion and power generating plants on the United States two largest Polar Icebreakers. Mike has been the Director of Marine Services for Cadick Corporation after retiring from the US Coast Guard as a Command Master Chief Electrician in 2000.
LeeAnn Legg, Director of Engineering Services
Lee Ann has 18 years of electrical engineering and training experience in power systems including equipment testing, check-out, startup, maintenance, calculations, and field design. She has extensive experience in all aspects of boilers, turbines, transformers, breakers, steam cycles, material handling systems, on line monitoring systems, and control systems. Lee Ann also has experience in electrical and one-line print design and revisions including supervision and training experience. She has participated in the technical writing of power plant equipment descriptions and operating procedures.
Al Winfield, Director of Training & Safety Services
Al has over 50 years of experience in the Electrical Utility Industry, including nineteen (19) years with Cadick Corporation (CC). His responsibilities have included administration of bulk power transfer with the New York state power pool. Developed and presented training and testing for generation and transmission operators. With CC Al has a lead role in the development and presentation of all our training with special emphasis in electrical safety and system operations training. Al is also Cadick Corporation’s lead electrical safety auditor.
